The Drug Enforcement Administration is getting a new $47 million laboratory at the Beacon Lakes Business Park, west of Miami International Airport and Cargo facilities and northwest of the intersection of State Road 836 and the Florida Turnpike. The development group, a pairing of Investments and Halle Enterprises, plans to start building in February. The nine-acre site is leased to the DEA for 20 years. The agency will use it for testing drugs it seizes in its regional operations. [GlobeSt]
