Financial services firm Merrill Lynch has become the anchor tenant of the Gardens Pointe office building after signing a lease for 12,222 square feet. The class A building is now 60 percent occupied; Merrill will occupy one-third of the 34,363-square foot space. Other tenants include the private banking division of Key Bank, which leased 7,267 square feet, and lawyer Jeffrey Begens, who has 1,200 square feet on the ground floor. Neil Merin, chairman of the West Palm Beach-based commercial real estate brokerage NAI/Merin Hunter Codman, said the location is a major traffic hub in the region. Gardens Pointe was one of the few multi-tenant office buildings finished in the last year. [GlobeSt]
