In a move that should help clean up his image, retired NBA star Dennis
Rodman has announced he will be partnering with a Florida charity, the
Mission of St. Francis, and a Fort Lauderdale couple who is desperate
to sell its six-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home. The charity is
holding a raffle for the couple’s $3 million waterfront mansion, which
has a home theater, four-car garage and heated pool. Tickets are going
for $30 each. In order to generate buzz and sell raffle tickets for the
charity, Rodman has been promoting the event on Twitter and Facebook
and has recently appeared in a “MTV Cribs”-style video giving a tour of
the home. [CNBC]
