Lottery winner eviction looms

Donna Campbell, the Miramar resident whose husband concealed his winning share of a $19 million lottery jackpot, may soon be evicted from her house after losing a lawsuit for half his Florida Lotto windfall. In June 2007, Arnim Ramdass, 53, shared a winning ticket with co-workers at the Miami International Airport. He kept the good news from Campbell — and his $450,000 after-tax share of the group’s $10.2 million lump sum payout. Campbell, a 1979 beauty queen in Trinidad and Tobago, sued to get half the winnings, a bid that was tossed out of court. The estranged couple’s three-bedroom house went into foreclosure, and Campbell is looking for places to stay with family members. [WPTV]
