Foreclosure stats for the week

As of today, the number of foreclosures in South Florida year-to-date is 95,109, according to data from Condo Vultures Realty. Last year at this time, Condo Vultures had 74,387 foreclosures on record, though that number is slightly skewed because the firm did not receive Broward County foreclosure data between Dec. 13, 2008 and Jan. 11, 2009. For this week alone, there were 2,131 foreclosures in South Florida. The graph below shows foreclosure
