Miami medical offices change hands

Square One Center, a Miami office building at 20880 West
Dixie Highway next to Aventura, has sold for $3.75 million, according
to brokerage Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services. The
identities of the seller, a private investor, and the buyer, an
Aventura limited liability corporation, were not disclosed. Marcus &
Millichap represented both sides of the deal. The one-story, Class B
medical office building was built in 1999 and has roughly 17,600 square feet of rentable space.

Home Financing Center gets new corporate HQ

Home Financing Center, the privately-owned South Florida lending
company with a $700 million loan servicing portfolio and a staff of
roughly 40, has relocated its headquarters to the third floor of 400
University drive in Coral Gables. The new headquarters will house its
accounting, mortgage servicing, title insurance, underwriting and
executive offices.


CityPlace ranks high in tenant satisfaction

The CityPlace Office Tower in West Palm Beach has some of the most
satisfied tenants in the nation amongst commercial properties,
according to a survey by Los Angeles, Cali. -based CEL & Associates, a
real estate consulting company. The 18-story, 300,000-square-foot
tower is owned by New York’s Related Companies and Mizner Park
developers Crocker Partners and won a “Best in the Industry” rating
from CEL following the survey. The $110 million tower — the first
Class A office building to be constructed in West Palm Beach since
1989 — is more than 85 percent leased, with 50,000 square feet
occupied by money management firm INTECH.


Four new luxury townhomes on the market in Deerfield Beach

National Custom Homes has completed four luxury townhomes on the
Intracoastal Waterway in Deerfield Beach, each with its own private
dock. The Mediterranean-style, three-story homes on NE 19th Avenue are
being marketed to boaters who will enjoy eight-foot lateral docks and
37-foot piers. Each home is roughly 4,123 square feet and has four
bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, an elevator and a heated pool.
The inside units are priced at $2.75 million while the end units are
$2.95 million and $3.25 million. Joyce Schneider of Castles by the
