Five mortgage relief firms investigated

The Florida Attorney General’s Office is looking at a quintet of
foreclosure rescue and mortgage modification companies it said charged
upfront fees in violation of state law.
Those under investigation include Foreclosure Relief Systems LLC, also doing business as Foreclosure
Rescue Services, of Miami and Miami Beach; Pendulum Financial Group,
also doing business as Blue Fox Financial, of Plantation; and Lender
Forensics LLC, also doing business as National Modification LLC, of
North Palm Beach. Fort Lauderdale attorney Thomas Dvorak is also being
questioned about allegations he allowed a foreclosure rescue company
