Trump name not real estate gold in SF

Having the Trump name on a South Florida building, something seen
frequently in Broward County, is looking less like real estate gold.
Several projects that received the Trump name through licensing, not
through equity investments, have stalled or run into trouble in South
Florida. The Trump International in Fort Lauderdale is now in foreclosure.
A 95-unit tower at Trump Las Olas did not come to fruition. Another
Fort Lauderdale Las Olas project, the Trump Las Olas Beachfront, was
announced four years ago but never built. The Dezer Group took ownership of the Trump Towers in Sunny Isles Beach at the end of February in a deal with Related. Dezer has developed several Trump-licensed properties in the area, including the Trump Royale in Sunny Isles. The Trump Hollywood was able to open, to much fanfare, in the summer. [Sun Sentinel]
