Fifty-six percent of residential real estate for resale in South Florida is on the market less than
$250,000, meaning the value properties are there as long as buyers are
not looking for waterfront, according to a Condo Vultures report. The dividing line is I-95, meaning those in
search of bank-owned bargains need to start at the ocean and drive far
west to places like Doral, Kendall and Plantation. There may be some cheaper coastal properties further
north in places like Hollywood and southern Palm Beach county, the report says. [Housing Watch]
