Few victories by bidders at Broward’s first online auction

Broward County held its first online auctions
today, but just six bids were enough to beat the bank. Plaintiff banks
held on to 109 of 115 real estate properties that went to full auction.
The successful non-bank bidders were scattered among four companies.
Among the six properties successfully won were two in Coral Springs,
one in Fort Lauderdale, and one each in Sunrise, Deerfield Beach and
Lighthouse Point. The highest successful bid was $200,100 for a home at
2421 NE 49 Street in Lighthouse Point. The lowest successful bid was
$45,100 on a property at 3310 SW 1 Street in Deerfield Beach, whose
final foreclosure judgment was $209,651.22. The clerk’s office will
