Related taps Massirman as senior managing director

Commercial real estate broker Jay Massirman, founder of distressed asset management firms Rivergate Companies and the Massirman Group, has been tapped as senior managing director for Jorge Perez’s the Related Group. Massirman, a 25-year veteran of the industry, is slated to focus on acquisitions in the Southeastern U.S., Related said. Rivergate will continue as a real estate holding company.
