Restauranteur Bova says his last restaurant owned by Rothstein

Anthony Bova, who was at one time one of the region’s top restauranteurs, and filed bankruptcy Thursday, said he has no ownership stake in the only restaurant left with his name, Bova Prime in Fort Lauderdale, his attorney says. In fact, Bova’s attorney said, the restaurant belongs entirely to Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein. Another of his restaurants, Bova Ristorante, closed in the fall, and Bova Cucina closed on Thursday. Bova said he was not aware Rothstein was running the Ponzi scheme. [SFBJ]
