MTV exec buys mysterious fire site

Why own a beach house, when you can own a castle? That might have been the rationale of Bill Roedy, chairman and CEO of MTV Networks International, when he purchased a $4.42 million plot of land, which once held a castle-like home that mysteriously burned to the ground last summer. Roedy, who currently resides in South Beach, plans to tear down the remains and rebuild on the plot, which claims Calvin Klein as a neighbor.
