Home, condo sales jump in Florida

While prices remain stagnant, sales of single-family homes and condo
units rose in March, according to Florida Realtors, the largest trade
association in Florida. The biggest jump was West Palm Beach, which saw
its existing home sales rise 23 percent. There were 158 more homes sold
in the city than in March 2009. Miami’s existing home sales jumped 17
percent to 649, although the median home price fell four percent to
$197,500. Condo sales posted the biggest gains in Miami, with a
58-percent jump over 2009. [SFBJ]
