Automobile dealer Gene Reed has purchased the newly-constructed home at
225 Seabreeze Avenue in Palm Beach for $6.35 million, according to a warranty deed filed
last week. The seller was Ted Gossett, an associate at Sotheby’s
International Realty who acted as the broker for the property. Reed
also owns a property at 329 Australian Avenue in Palm Beach, which is on the market for $4 million. Gossett acquired 225 Seabreeze Avenue with business partner Robert Abee last July, switching homes with John Sculley,
who was the former CEO of Apple. They sold 125 Wells Road to the
Sculleys, who then sold 225 Seabreeze to the two for $5.5 million. The Seabreeze Avenue home was first listed on the market for $7.65 million. [Palm Beach Daily News]
