Buyers close deals on 126 condos at Icon

There were 126 condo sales at Icon Brickell in downtown Miami in April,
giving the 1,800-unit building a 23 percent rate of closed sales,
according to a report from Condo Vultures.  After developers put in new
discounts on properties in the tower, purchasers bought an average of
four units per day last month, compared to just two per day in the
first quarter of 2010. While only 125 units had been sold in the
previous two years, the total for 2010 is now up to approximately 300
