RBC Bank has filed a foreclosure action against both GFA International
and Deerfield Station, which owns the 87,081-square-foot Holiday Park
Hotel, along with its adjacent restaurant building, according to
Broward County Circuit Court records. The lawsuit concerns a $16.5
million loan issued four years ago to the on the properties, which
stand at 1250 West Hillsboro Boulevard, just to the west of I-95. The
developer, which is an affiliate of York Residential, a Georgia
company, intended to redevelop the site to take advantage of nearby
