Premier sells 27 acres in Pompano Beach

Premier Commercial Realty has sold the 27-acre Premier Turnpike Park in
Pompano Beach to Duke Realty Corp. The park, which consists of two
buildings, each 112,688 square feet, opened recently, but are empty.
There is room on the site, which is located at Northwest 33rd Street
and Blount Road in Pompano Beach, for two more buildings. Ed Mitchell,
VP of Duke’s operations in South Florida, said he expected the property
to lease quickly. Premier’s move goes against its recent history — the
company had generally pursued a strategy of buying and holding
