The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America will return to South
Florida for another of its extremely popular loan modification
workshops, although the city is not yet determined. It will, however,
take place from Aug. 13 to Aug. 17, according to its web site. The
group, led by CEO Bruce Marks, held a session that saw 24,000 homeowners talk to banks in West Palm Beach, and held another workshop in Miami Beach. Banks pay the group, which receives government funding, $500 for each successful loan modification. [Sun Sentinel]
