James Patterson sells Everglades Island home for $10.33 million
The home was appraised at $11.8 million
Novelist James Patterson has sold his home at 686 Island Drive on
Everglades Island for $10.335 million, according to Palm Beach County
records. The home had been listed for $14.95 million with Fite Shavell
& Associates. Betsey Hall, an associate at the firm, represented
buyer and seller. The current appraised value of the home, which the
author bought in 1999 for $5.2 million, is $11.8 million. Last year,
Patterson purchased Casa Ananda, a home at 710 S. Ocean Boulevard, for
