Bret Carr, the son of heiress Gail Posner, who left her $8.3 million Miami Beach mansion to her dogs and $27 million to her staffers, is pulling no punches in his fight to get control of his late mother’s estate. Carr, who received just $1 million in his mother’s will, claims that his mother was brainwashed while she was ill into forking over the cash and house to her employees — and dogs. The forsworn son hit the airwaves this week on NBC’s “Today” show, depicting his late mother’s staffers, including personal trainer, housekeepers and bodyguards, as opportunistic and manipulative. “They saw a frail woman who was vulnerable, who had a delusional ego,” Carr said. “Slowly, they got into her world… and they completely took advantage.” [NYDN]
