The move-out deadline for residents at Lauderhill apartment complex Brampton Court has been pushed back for the fourth time in four days, after city officials found that construction workers were making significant progress on safety repairs there. Last week, the city handed residents three-day eviction notices because of numerous safety violations at the building, but now say they are willing to extend the deadline day by day if the improvements continue. Violations included a lack of fire extinguishers, broken or missing exit signs and fire alarms that did not work properly.
