LeBron James not buying $49.5

Rumors that new Heat superstar LeBron James was buying the $49.5 million Coral Gables estate of auto mogul Alan Potamkin are not true, according to the home’s owner. Life & Style Magazine had reported that the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player had begun the process of buying the home, but Potamkin said he has had no contact with James and that he, in fact, took the home off the market four months ago. Potamkin also said he has no intention of selling the home, which has 20,088 square feet. [Miami Herald]
