Bank of America opens loan mod

Bank of America has opened a new loan modification center in Fort
Lauderdale, dubbed a “customer outreach center,” to help struggling
homeowners meet with so-called homeowner retention specialists. The bank
has had a team of loan associates traveling to Florida since the beginning
of the year, and says it has met with more than 1,900 financially
troubled homeowners in that time. In the last two years, Bank of America
has completed 71,000 permanent loan modifications with Florida
homeowners. [SFBJ]
