SF leads the U.S. in foreclosure frequency

Florida has nine of the top 20 metro foreclosure rates in the country,
according to RealtyTrac’s reports for June and the six-month mark of
2010. South Florida led the way with 94,466, meaning more properties
were the subject of a foreclosure filing in the region than any other
metro area of 200,000 people or more. The rate was down from the
previous six months, but was still up nearly 11 percent from the first
half of 2009. [SFBJ]
