S. Florida Realtor groups combine forces

The Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches has merged with the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County, pending approval by the National Association of Realtors. The professional organizations, whose combined membership totals 23,000, will now be called the Miami Association of Realtors and will have a residential and commercial association as well as a Broward County board of governors, an international council and an educational foundation. Teresa King Kinney, CEO of the Greater Miami and the Beaches group, will take the helm as CEO of the joint organization while Jack Levine, president of Levine Realty, will serve as its first chairman of the board.
