Townhouse’s rooftop lounge opens tomorrow

The Rooftop Lounge at Townhouse Hotel in Miami Beach opens tomorrow. The
outdoor rooftop terrace, which formerly held a series of king-size
waterbeds paired with large umbrellas, has undergone a renovation. The
waterbeds have been replaced by Adirondack chairs and candlelit lanterns
on the fifth-floor terrace of the hotel, which is located at 150 20th
Street. Rooftop terraces have become somewhat controversial in Miami
Beach of late, with local residents complaining
about the noise generated by rooftop parties. Several hotels have
recently asked for permits for operating such bars, including the SoHo
