Testa family says foreclosure linked to government delays

The Testa family, which owns the historic Testa’s restaurant in Palm
Beach, is drawing a link between the recent foreclosure judgment on its
property on Royal Poinciana Way and a series of government delays that
impeded its plan to redevelop the restaurant. A former town official
says it was unfair to link the two, however. The property will be
auctioned on March 24, unless the Testas pay $7.7 million to satisfy a
loan held by Palm Beach-based Cypress Trust. [Palm
