Resident’s website ties Miami condo dwellers

In an effort to encourage relationships among downtown Miami condo
residents, Alex Gonzalez launched a website, Miami Urban Life, a social
networking site for members of downtown Miami and surrounding condo
neighborhoods. Now, three years after Gonzalez moved to Miami from West
Kendall, it has more than 2,000 members. Miami Urban Life is like
Facebook or MySpace, but it has an extra tool: a condos section where
members can interact with their neighbors. Gonzalez said he has been
approached by some condos because they want control over their Miami
Urban Life pages, something he has been reluctant to allow. [Miami
