Exec only checked dates on foreclosure docs

A Wells Fargo executive made an admission in a May deposition that he
only verified the dates on up to 150 foreclosure documents he signed
daily. The executive made the admission in a case involving a Washington
state homeowner. Three lenders, including JPMorgan Chase, have halted
tens of thousands of foreclosures after similar practices were made
public. Wells Fargo is confident that its documents are accurate, and
has no plans to stop foreclosures, according to Vickee Adams, a
spokesperson for the bank. [Miami
