The Worth Avenue renovation is down to the final details, with a
completion date set for Nov. 24. “We’re in the tweaking phase now,” said
Dennis Haynes, president of Burkhardt Construction, the contractor in
charge of the project. Construction began in early April, with no major
issues during the work, according to Haynes. The final touches include
finishing a clock tower that marks the entrance to the avenue at the
east side of South Ocean Boulevard. “We are on the home stretch,” said
Haynes. The Real Deal talked to Harvey
Oyer, the Palm Beach attorney who helped pave the way for the
renovation
earlier this year. [Palm
