A six-bedroom, three-story estate at 132 South Main Street in
Southampton hit the market today, with an asking price of $18.8 million.

The 5,000-square-foot home sits on a double parcel of 3.4 acres of land, with an approved
subdivision for two 1.7-acre lots, giving buyers the ability to do whatever
they want and making it ideal for a second home or a guest house, said Pat Petrillo of
Sotheby’s International Realty, who is marketing the property with
colleague Harald Grant.

“The land is unbelievable, unlike anything else in the village,” Petrillo said, “and the house is authentic, historic and beautifully maintained.”

The estate features a wraparound porch, a heated pool, a cabana, a two-car garage and a tennis court with its own patio, bordered by hedges and tall trees.

The current owners, whose identity Patrillo declined to disclose, have been living in the house for close to two decades, after purchasing it in the late 1980s, Patrillo said. “They lived there for a very long time and felt it was time for a change.”
