Former clerk: Stern hid files

David Stern, the foreclosure attorney being investigated for
questionable documents, allegedly hid files from Fannie Mae and Freddie
Mac inspectors on purpose. The allegations come from a former employee
for Stern given in a deposition. Kelly Scott, the former clerk for
Stern’s firm, claimed the lawyer had a tight-knit relationship with the
two mortgage giants and referred to them as “babies.” According to
Scott, Stern would get tipped off when the inspectors were on their way
