Lake Worth selects finalists for $6M beach casino renovation project

The city of Lake Worth has narrowed the playing field down to three construction firms in the planned $6 million renovation of its historic beach casino building. The finalists are Hendrick Brothers Construction of West Palm Beach; the Morganti Group of Danbury, Conn., which has an office in West Palm Beach; and Kaufman Lynn General Contractors of Boca Raton. The firms will present their plans Monday afternoon at city hall and a winner will be selected by committee. Six firms had bid on the project. [Palm Beach Post]
