Lenders begin to lift freeze

Lenders including Bank of America and GMAC Mortgage have started lifting
freezes on more than 100,000 of their foreclosure cases in Florida and
other states. James Olecki, a spokesperson for Ally Financial’s GMAC,
said the lender is re-submitting documents in some foreclosure cases
including at least one in Florida. Late last night, Bank of America
issue a statement saying the firm expected to bring cases back into
court next week in 23 states that have a judicial foreclosure process. [Sun
