Nurse leads anti-foreclosure movement

A 45-year-old cancer nurse, Lisa Epstein, is spearheading an
anti-foreclosure coalition that has, in part, led to the recent decision
by some of the nation’s largest banks to freeze their foreclosure
processes and review their practices. Along with local blogger Michael
Redman, Epstein’s movement has looked through court records, posted
online versions of foreclosure affidavits of questionable origin and
earned scores of followers. Epstein originally had an 800 credit score
until she found herself unable to get a loan modification on a condo she
was trying to sell but could not. [Palm
