The new Publix in downtown Lake Worth had its ground breaking ceremony
yesterday, with the 29,000-square-foot store set to open in late spring
of 2011, according to the Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency. The
store’s construction follows the much-publicized renovation of the
Publix in the town of Palm Beach, which has seen several
obstacles
on its way to completion. The company’s renovation plans
were finally
approved at the end of the summer
for the 40,000-square-foot store.
