FPL solar plant nears completion

Florida Power & Light’s solar plant in Martin County is near
completion, making it one of the first large-scale hybrid solar plants
in the world. The plant, located in Indiantown, will supply power to
South Florida, and is part of the company’s renewable energy initiative.
According to company spokesperson Jackie Anderson, the plant should be
operating by the end of the year. “All the mirrors are in place, all the
