Freddie Mac ends Stern relationship

Mortgage finance agency Freddie Mac has ended its relationship with the
Law Offices of David Stern and ordered it to stop processing foreclosure
and bankruptcy matters in Florida. The firm has been under
investigation by the attorney general’s office over problems with legal
documents in foreclosures. The agency told the firm of the decision last
week pending a review of its work, according to spokesperson Amy
