South Floridians can finally get the low-priced, high-fashion wares from
Swedish company H&M, with the company’s first South Florida
location opening Friday at noon at the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach
County. The company, which was founded in 1947, does have two other
locations in Florida, which are both in Orlando. It has said it plans to
open 220 new stores globally this year, including several in the United
States. The two-story, 20,409-square-foot location in the mall involved
a $1.1 million buildout, according to county records. [Miami
