Samuel Chantilis of the Bray Children’s Trust in Dallas was the buyer of the former home of Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff and his wife, Ruth, according to a warranty deed filed in the Palm Beach County clerk’s office. Chantilis is the brother of Stephanie Bray, the mother of the Bray children, for whom the trust is named. “The Bray Children’s Trust made the purchase,” said Bennie Bray, Stephanie Bray’s husband. “It felt that the property was a good value.” [Palm Beach Daily News]
