Cushman closes 282,000 SF in Broward

Cushman & Wakefield’s Broward County industrial services team closed
282,000 square feet of transactions last month, with the largest lease
being a 140,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility at 1850
NW 49th Street in Fort Lauderdale. “Momentum is picking up, and users
are acting now to lock in deals at today’s lease terms, before increases
in demand put upward pressure on rental rates,” said Mr. Metzger, an
executive director at Cushman and Wakefield. The second-highest lease
was a 73,328-square-foot lease at Prologis Park Sawgrass, which is at
4050 NW 126th Avenue in Coral Springs. The firm also handled five other
