Coldwell Banker buys out Florida’s Century 21 Horizon Properties

Florida’s Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate has acquired Century 21 Horizon Properties, the independently-owned franchise with operations in Palm Beach and Martin counties. A visit to the Horizon Properties website confirms that it is now offline “for maintenance,” and the South Florida Business Journal reports that the merged company will do business under the Coldwell Banker name. Joanne Weidman and Ralph Davino, who founded Horizon Properties more than 30 years ago, will stay on as part of the Coldwell Banker sales team. “We believe our firm’s business philosophies and practices are a good match… and that our sales associates and their clients will benefit [from the merger],” Weidman said in a statement.
