Wellington developer Glenn Straub of Palm Beach Polo Holdings was found
not guilty yesterday in a criminal trial over allegations he violated
federal wetlands laws. Straub was charged June 22 with improperly
bulldozing and filling in wetlands; he argued that the company only
removed invasive vegetation and that it had been allowed by state
agencies to do the work. A 12-member jury acquitted him after a 3-week
trial. [SFBJ]
