Wyndham Grand Bay’s demise featured on USA network show “Burn Notice”

Last night’s season finale of USA Network show Burn Notice featured the
series’ heroes waging a last stand inside the bowels of the troubled
former Wyndham Grand Bay hotel in Coconut Grove. “Who builds half a hotel?”
character Jesse Porter asks. “Someone who was in mid-renovation when
their bank went under,” Gabrielle Anwar’s Fiona responds. The hotel has
been in foreclosure since the summer as part of the Merco Group’s
Coconut Grove portfolio. TRD
