Florida’s existing home sales dropped 15 percent last month compared to November 2009, but condominium sales increased 11 percent over the same time period, according to a report released today by the National Association of Realtors. In Palm Beach County, existing home sales saw a 5 percent drop last month compared to November 2009, while condo sales jumped 12 percent. These statistics reflect a housing market in an “uneven recovery,” said Lawrence Yun, chief economist for NAR. Palm Beach County’s median price for a single-family home was $208,400, down 8 percent from November 2009. The median price statewide was $132,700, down 5 percent from last year. [Palm Beach Post]
