More SF resales in 2010 than 2006

There were more residences resold in South Florida this year than in 2006, the last year
of the boom, as buyers rushed to capitalize on deep discounts and the
federal tax credits, according to a report from Condo Vultures. There
were 75,000 single-family homes, townhouse and condos resold this year,
an average of 6,250 per month, compared to 67,600 in South Florida in
2006. That number marks a 10.4 percent increase over 2009, according to
the report, which is based on data from the Florida Association of
