Palms Corporate Center sells for $18M

An affiliate of the New York-based Blackstone Group has bought the Palms
Corporate Center for $18 million. The 257,615-square-foot center was
sold by commercial broker Rene Vivo, principal of VF Miami Lakes. The
16-acre site is comprised of six, 40,000-square-foot buildings and one
11,500-square-foot building. The site has been home to Dupont Chemicals
and Baxter Pharmaceuticals. It is the third transaction in Miami Lakes
this week, including the purchase of the former
Cordis Corp. manufacturing complex
by the Easton Group. [SFBJ]
