Delray Beach, Naples homes make list of most expensive discounts of 2010

Real estate data site Zillow.com found that 10 of 2010’s bigger home sales also came with massive price cuts, and two Florida homes have made that list, according to the Wall Street Journal. Number six on the list was a 14,679-square-foot Mediterranean estate at 969 South Ocean Boulevard in Delray Beach. Listed at $24.9 million in 2008, the six-bedroom home sold for $12.65 million. Coming in at number nine was a 9,394-square-foot Gulf Coast home at 700 Kings Town Drive in Naples. The six-bedroom home, featuring a two-level study, a 1,000-bottle wine room and a multi-tiered cascading pool, was listed at $15.9 million and sold for $13 million. [WSJ] and [Zillow]
