Home values in South Florida fell 15.4 percent year over year in
November, but just 1.1 percent from October to November, according to
data from Zillow.com. Of homes that were sold in the tri-county area, 50
percent went for a loss, with 22.2 percent of homes currently on the
market seeing cuts. Nationwide, 25.8 percent of homes had at least one
price reduction by the end of 2010, according to Zillow. The number of
sellers cutting prices fell by about 2 percent, however, compared to the
same time period in 2009. [SFBJ]
